This IN UTERO online panel session is being delivered by the NHS Cheshire and Merseyside Local Maternity System’s Baby Week Team, to promote wider discussion of women’s health issues and to underline the need to address health inequities where they start IN UTERO and pre-conception. We are delighted to announce this first panel session will include a very special guest and esteemed, IN UTERO writer and producer Kathleen Man Gyllenhaal.
The panel session provides a forum for sharing reflections on the documentary film and exploring any questions the streaming has provoked. The panel session will be chaired by Catherine McClennan Director of Improving Me, NHS Cheshire and Merseyside Local Maternity System and our guest panelists will included experts who can respond to the varied themes the film touches on.
The panel will include:
Professor Sid Banka is a Professor of Genomic Medicine and Rare Diseases, Consultant Clinical Geneticist, Manchester University Foundation NHS Trust Clinical Director, Manchester Rare Conditions Centre.
Kerry Bennet is the Better Start Bradford Integration and Development lead. She is a registered children’s nurse and registered specialist public health nurse.
Professor Valerie Fleming the academic lead for the Liverpool Health commission at Liverpool John Moores University(LJMU) and a former maternity advisor for the WHO.
Debbie Gould a specialist consultant midwife for Cheshire and Merseyside NHS.
Neesha Ridley the Health Education England Maternity Workforce Lead for North West England .
